Hey there!

I’ve decided to start a new habit—writing a daily email to my network. Why? Honestly, I don’t have the perfect answer. But here’s what I do know:

1. Writing daily will help me focus and gather my thoughts before the day kicks off.

2. If even one of these emails helps someone—whether it’s a boost after a tough day or a spark for their business—it’s worth it.

A quick note: when I say “daily,” I mean business days. No Christmas morning inbox bombs here. Each morning, I’ll share my thoughts on life, business, growth, and goals. Some will resonate, some you might skim, and some may end up lining hamster cages—and that’s fine.

Since this is the first one, let me (re)introduce myself:

My name’s Ryan Grafton. I live in the Southern Interior of British Columbia with my amazing wife, our 17-year-old daughter, and our dogs. We love traveling, great food, and building businesses that give us freedom and allow us to serve the right people.

I’ve been investing in real estate for over 17 years—flips, BRRRRs, small multifamily deals, and now looking at boutique hotels (chasing the lifestyle as much as the returns). I bought my first house in 2008—yes, terrible timing—and spent 12 years working in a local factory, dreaming of a way out. During those years, I studied business and real estate nonstop, even earning both my

Realtor and Property Management licenses. My wife is now dual-licensed and runs that side of our business.

Today, my focus is on helping others grow their businesses and portfolios so they can live the life they actually want. Right now, I work 1:1 with Realtors who want to scale by working with investors, but truthfully, this will expand to helping entrepreneurs across industries build sustainable, thriving companies.

One last thing: these emails won’t drag on. I’m aiming for “half a cup of coffee” in length.So here’s to Day 1. I hope something in this email makes your day better, even in a small way.

And if you’re a business owner or entrepreneur—go out there and crush it today. Nobody’s going to do it for you.
