Well, we’re here!

Yesterday my business partner and I officially began our journey, or maybe we should call it our quest, to find our first boutique hotel.

We landed in Puerto Vallarta and immediately made our way up the coast to San Pancho, a quiet little surf town about an hour north of PV. Neither of us had been here before, but we’re already seeing the potential and feeling inspired by the opportunities.

Over the next three days, we’ll be touring 14 different properties. There won’t be much time for soaking up the sun, but we’re excited to explore as many options as possible to really understand the area, the people, and the vision we want to create.

The best part for me is the time spent talking about our dream with someone who shares it. Our sunset conversations go deep—into our pasts, what brought us here, and the potential we have to build something truly special. The commitment, the drive, and the all-in attitude we both bring are what will carry us to our goals.

There’s also this feeling I get in my gut when I’m down here. It feels like a second home. Have you ever experienced that while traveling? It’s clear we’ll both need to work on our Spanish, but that just adds to the adventure.

This morning I’ll walk the beach and collaborate on ideas for what our hotel will become. Our realtor picks us up at 9am, and then we’re off to the races.

This week is going to be incredible, and I’m grateful you’re on this journey with us.
