
Expanding Your Reach (Pt. 2)

Yesterday I talked about the importance of showing up online. Today, I want to take it a step further and talk about something that can accelerate your reach faster than almost anything else: hosting webinars and collaborating with others.
A few years ago, the idea of hosting a webinar terrified me. Talking to a camera while hoping people were actually paying attention felt awkward. But once I pushed through that fear, it became one of the most powerful tools in my business.
Here’s why webinars work so well.
They create instant authority. When someone takes time out of their day to hear you teach, they automatically see you as an expert. That trust turns into followers, leads, and eventually clients or investors.
They also let you multiply your reach. One live session can reach dozens of people in real time, and the replay can work for you for months afterward. I still get messages from people who watched recordings from six months ago.
If you want to start hosting your own webinars, here’s a simple plan that works:
- Pick a problem you can solve. Keep it specific. “How to attract investor clients” or “How to save 10 hours a week using AI” are great examples.
- Choose a partner. Collaborate with someone who brings complementary expertise. It keeps the energy high and helps both of you reach new audiences.
- Promote early. Post about it at least a week ahead, share the value of what people will learn, and remind them the day before.
- Repurpose your content. Cut short clips from the webinar to use for reels, stories, and posts later.
Hosting webinars is just one way to grow your brand. You can also guest on podcasts, speak at local meetups, or partner with other entrepreneurs on workshops. Every collaboration introduces you to a new audience and builds your credibility faster than any ad campaign ever could.
If you are serious about expanding your reach, pick one of these strategies and schedule it this week. You do not need fancy software or a big following. You just need to start.
Remember, your voice and your experience matter. The people you want to reach will never find you if you keep waiting for the “perfect time.” Start with what you have and let momentum do the rest.
